    Wow. That’s totally it.
    A Nazi quote, too! XD

By all means put your office in the second floor with no elevator. I will go there and trip on purpose then sue for millions.

@aarondavid826 “Health Insurance has never been and never will be a right. It is a choice.”
That’s exactly right. And for families who make the choice to GET healthcare insurance and are DENIED coverage; what then? That’s where gov’t health insurance kicks in. They have a CHOICE other than ‘healthcare’ or ‘no healthcare’. Your analogy sucks. Because its mandatory to insure your car, but not a person. When did cars become more important than people? The role of gov’t is to PROTECT the people.

Eventually this private for profit system is going to get so expensive it just crashes the government and the economy. Because of this new healthcare bill, we’re all going to be medical serfs.

  5. jotunobsidianeyes says:

@Capng123 And incredibly inefficient and expensive too. If someone doesn’t get fairness by this point they never will. Talking about efficiency is another matter.

    The Republican way…

“Our starting point is not the individual:

We do not subscribe to the view that one should feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, or clothe the naked Our objectives are different: We must have a healthy people in order to prevail in the world.”

@Capng123 It seems you have ran out of rebuttals and simple resorted to cheap name calling and generalizations. I’ll have a beer to celebrate my victory. Bon Voyage

  8. Capng123 says:

@aarondavid826 Actually they’re NOT free but I don’t expect you to understand that. Or anything for that matter. Like most right-wing americans you typify a blend of ignorance and arrogance that is as predictable as sunrise.

@Capng123 You never answered my 1st question but no matter. Health care is not a right in my country. Not all countries are the same. Some countries are very powerful and influence the entire world. Like my country. We are a great example of what a free market can do. Correct, a person isn’t a car, a person isn’t health insurance either. Both cost money and is the responsibility of the person to attain both if he wants them. Sorry about your depression, go get some pills theyer free

  11. Capng123 says:

@aarondavid826 It’s a right in my country and ever other sane country on the planet. It could be a right in yours too if you chose to make it so (constitutional ammendments can do wonderful things). As to your ludicrous SUV/Honda analogy, a person is not a car. People are not things. Human beings are not commodities to be profitted from. There is a fundamental level of simple humanity that precludes this notion. The fact that people like yourself don’t seem to agree is depressing.

  12. aarondavid826 says:

@Capng123 So what happens when someone inherently understands something you don’t. Are they wrong, are you wrong?

Health Insurance has never been and never will be a right. It is a choice. Free healthcare for all is economically unattainable. Even the US gov can’t live on a mountain of debt without it collapsing one day.

A big, expensive gas guzzling SUV is a lot safer vehicle than say a Honda Civic. But many cannot afford one. Do we have a right for free one from the gov?

  15. Fig1024 says:

How can you say that when the entire industrialized world is functioning on government based healthcare? US is like a 3rd world country when it comes to health care

    we can do better

  16. Capng123 says:

@theVAGINAntichrist only from the viewpoint of an insurance company.

  17. theVAGINAntichrist says:

For-profit health insurance is the only economically feasible type of health insurance.

Yet another reason I hate this country.

  19. bigirishbeast90 says:

This may sound brutal, but I don’t blame the insurance companies. I blame Congress.

  20. unincorporated1 says:

@Capng123 Yes. I agree completely. But in a Capitalist society, MONEY TALKS… And money is ultimately the deciding factor that dictates how politicians vote, and consequentially, which bills become law. I am pissed at Obama for taking out the public option.

    Cheers!

  21. Capng123 says:

@aarondavid826 Will you ask me to hand the moon in a box as well? Morality isn’t a provable concept, it’s something that’s understood inherently. You can’t “prove” murder is wrong, it’s just understood that it is. If you need “proof” that money is not more important than people then you clearly lack a basic moral compass in first place.

  22. hamstergeddon911 says:

LOL “Putting the company on the 2nd floor with no elevator!” LOL oh those jokers in the Health care Industry!!!

  23. aarondavid826 says:

@Capng123 yes, you made a declarative statement now back it up.

  24. Capng123 says:

@aarondavid826 You want me to prove something is immoral? Sure, if you can point me to a chart that empiracally stats out levels of morality using solid data points, I’d be happy to.

@Neweddy24 because I actually LIKE this new interface….I’m not getting “fucked over” like you see yourself, lol

it’s not a matter of getting screwed, you just don’t like change…which is not a valid reason to get all pissy and get your panties in a bunch…just suck it up like a man, open your mind, and learn the new interface…who knows? you might like it too :)
