When people say protect the poor? who do they mean? the welfare reliant scroungers, yobs, anti-social, career criminals? because the “poor” are riddled with those sort of people. Child benefit to these people does not go to the child, it goes to the drug habit, the ciggies, the booze.
Let’s not say the poor, say the genuinely vulnerable, elderly people and the people looking for work but can’t find it.
Good budget, it will hit the welfare reliant hard, and is very fair.
raise taxes?!! Like more alcohol for the drunks…
IT WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH
A tax on banks won’t work. How can this government claim to be conservative-led when it contains four Lib Dems and has socialist policies? What we need is a party that believes in true conservative values but that will protect the poor at the same time. That party is UKIP.
